Lord of Destruction is another very little-known creation from Gabe Macchia, the creator of a unique gloomy adventure game with role-playing elements - Plague of the Moon . This time, the author wrote a full-fledged role-playing game, drawing a lot of key ideas from popular RPG games of the time: first of all, the obvious influence of the Wizardry, Ultima, Might & Magic series - and even a tangible identity with the series of games on the Goldbox engine.
