Dracula's Shadow is a fan-made game, plot-related to the Castlevania series and taking the foundations from Castlevania II: Simon's Quest . Also noteworthy is the ability to run under DOS (!).
The plot is almost unchanged compared to the aforementioned game - Belmont and his partner, while killing the vermin, collect the remains of Count Dracula so that he does not return to Earth.
In terms of preserving elements of the original game, Dracula's Shadow looks just perfect - all the features of Simon's Quest have remained in place. Day and night still follow each other, you can talk with pedestrians and buy something from them, etc. The number of "soup sets" increased to seven.
Graphically, the game is stylized as a NES video system, but with more saturated colors. Nevertheless, some images, such as portraits of characters, are clearly taken from another game and casually stretched. Melodies - average midi-shki.
Despite the player's two lives, the sequels are endless, which makes the game easy enough for passing. The result is a good arcade game recommended by the past original game.
