Corridor 8: Galactic Wars is the sequel to Corridor 7: Alien Invasion. The game is set 100 years after the alien invasion of Corridor 7, in which an evil intelligence has once again assembled a deadly army of warriors to conquer the universe. The game was being developed by Capstone Software and was placed on the back burner in order to concentrate on developing another game, FATE. However, in 1996, Capstone Software went bankrupt and the game was thought to be lost. In 2005, the source files for the game were located and given to the public. The game features six episodes with 10 maps each, and includes 18 characters with different abilities and strengths. The game was meant to include cinematics and allow for user-created maps.
