Known issue with motion controls:While most of the game can be played with any controller, there are at least 3 sections in the game that require motion controls to pass. Two of these can be skipped by performing other actions, but the third cannot be bypassed ingame.
- First tutorial mission: Forced motion movement can be skipped by pressing L3 + R3 instead.
- Second tutorial mission: Forced motion movement can be skipped by dragging the person to the grave. This will skip the entire tutorial section.
- Later storyline mission: To bypass the mission where the player is required to throw someone over the ledge by tilting the Sixaxis forward, simply grip them near the edge, pivot with the right joystick, and then release to propel him over with momentum. (Thanks to Tweeblue for the tip)
