When the king dies, the kingdom is left without a ruler, plunging soon into chaos as the dead rise to take control. Three characters - Zoya, a thief, Amadeus, a wizard, and Pontius, a knight - find themselves bound by a magical artifact called the Trine. Together, they explore the kingdom in search of the Guardian, the only one capable of controlling the power of the Trine.

Trine is a physics-based action game where the three characters must cooperate to solve puzzles. Each has specific abilities: Zoya can grapple and shoot arrows, Amadeus can manipulate objects with magic, and Pontius excels in combat. The game also features RPG elements with levels filled with treasures and potions to enhance the characters' skills.
