The events at the end of Overlord: Raising Hell are not favorable for the Overlord. Despite defeating the final boss and claiming hell for his empire, the Jester thwarted his plans, condemning him to remain trapped there. However, the story continues with his son, the Overlad, raised in Nordberg. After falling into the hands of the Empire and narrowly escaping death by freezing, he prepares for vengeance with the help of his minions. In this new adventure, players control the Overlad in the Netherworld, using minions to reclaim territories. The game also features a multiplayer mode for two players, where they can cooperate or compete for domination.
