Super Mario Bros. is an arcade platform game. The goal of the game is that Mario must cross from left to right eight worlds, each divided into four sub-levels, in order to save the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom from the clutches of the terrible Bowser, a half-dragon, half-turtle creature. Most enemies encountered can be eliminated by jumping on their heads or throwing fireballs at them. The first three sub-levels of each world end with a flag hanging from a pole on which he must try to jump as high as possible in order to obtain the best score, a score which in reality serves absolutely nothing other than to flatter the ego of the player. The last of the four sub-levels, for its part, takes us to one of the eight castles of the vile Bowser in order to have a muscular discussion with the latter.
