Supreme Warrior is a FMV action game developed and published by Digital Pictures on Mega CD.

The story takes place in Ancient China. A warrior named Wei Jian Tsen acquired a mask that could be split in two with one part representing good and the other representing evil. If the two parts are assembled, the wearer of the mask will get an unimaginable power. Taking into account the danger, the warrior separates the mask in two and keeps one part giving the other to a Shaolin monk. But Wei’s son, Fang Tu, murders his own father to grab his piece of the mask.

The monk Shaolin calls on the player to move the piece of the mask and take it to a secret sanctuary. He’s helped by a woman named Wu Ching.

As with other Digital Pictures games, you control the silent protagonist and your goal is to confront Fang Tu’s minions to protect your piece from the mask. Each clan working for Fang Tu is represented by an element: Fire, Earth and Wind and each having their own mask. If you have the three masks, you will be worthy to face Fang Tu and put an end to his terror.

To defeat your opponents, you can give punches, kicks, defend yourself and special techniques. It’s up to you to know which attack to use according to your opponent’s movement. The game is not simple but the commands are reactive. If you like martial arts movies, the game is worth a look.
