Ok here it is people. I received my retail copy of this rare as hell game. Apparently it was only released in Italy as a PAL game, and pretty much impossible to find.
The game must be region free. I accidentally forgot to patch it to NTSC before i burned it and plays perfect on my NTSC PS2. (Maybe someone with a PAL system can confirm it works for me?) This game is actually pretty cool. Its a unique shoot em up. The graphics are not the best, but they are solid and crisp. The left analog stick is used to control your vessel. The right analog stick controls a crosshair that you can move anywhere on the screen and shoot your weapons 360 degrees. There are two modes. 1 mode is the mission mode, which you play through a map of 30 (I think) levels.
The levels do trend to get monotonous. But I dunno, i enjoy it. It starts out very slow, and your weapons suck. But once you upgrade some, you get what is honestly the most insane weapons i have seen in ANY shoot em up. What sets it apart from other shooters is the way you upgrade. In mission mode, there are no floating upgrade things that you grab and upgrade your arsenal. You get money for each level you complete, based on how you performed in the level. At the end of the level, you go to a shop. Where you spend your cash to upgrade your ship. There are 12 different upgrades, and you can upgrade each one multiple levels.
