Kamen Rider, is a weekly sci-fi story created by Japanese mangaka Shotaro Ishinomori. It debuted as a tokusatsu television series on April 3, 1971 and ran until February 10, 1973, airing on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and NET TV (now TV Asahi). A manga adaptation was also featured in Shonen Magazine around the same period.

Although each entry in the series is different, each one shares similar traits with one and another. All generally involve at least one young adult male transforming into a Kamen Rider to fight various monsters and organizations linked to that specific Kamen Rider's origin. As the series progresses, the Rider often learns more about the monsters in the series, other Kamen Riders or the origin of his powers. Early Kamen Riders were generally based on grasshoppers, but this practice has only been done twice in the newer set of shows. Usually referred to as Rider Machines

Airing from 2000 to 2001 for 49 episodes, this was the first Kamen Rider series in 11 years and the start of the Heisei Kamen Rider Series of shows. Yuusuke Godai finds an ancient artifact that allows him to transform into Kamen Rider Kuuga to battle the Grongi forces. Having 11 forms, this series had more power ups than any before or after.

Empowered by grasshopper might and human know-how, Kamen Riders stake their claim to fame with athletic moves, superhuman strength and the ability to communicate by telepathic radio waves. The latest in the Kamen Rider fighting games continues with the Kouga version, a half human, half grasshopper who is seen on the front of the game package. The theme is 3-D fighting, kitschy appearances, strangely plastic looking costumes and all of the cheesiness of 70s Japanese television.

The story concerns about the rise of Grongi Tribes or referred to as Mikakunin Semetai (that's Japanese for Unknown Lifeforms), form their sleep million of years ago.

They shaped like Animal-Men and their mission is to kill all humans so that they could reclaim their world back.On the other side, there is a magical belt that contains the power of Kuuga, the protectors of human race. The belt was accidentally weared by the young man Godai Yuusuke, who became Kamen Rider Kuuga to battle the Grongis. Kuuga can change to four forms in accordance with fire, water, wind and earth.

The control in this game is simple. It has a punch, kick, jump and special button. The special button when pressed, activates your characters special moves which will take huge chunks of life out your opponents.

The moves are responsive but the introduction of the special button makes the game very easy. Even novices could win the game by pressing special button repeatedly.
