This is the game work of Heisei Genius Bakabon, which is the third work of the Tensai Bakabon animation series. There was also a Famicom version, but this work is a Game Boy version. An action game in which Bakabon's dad goes on a rampage at Bakada University while chasing Hajime-chan and his mother who have been kidnapped by someone.
Since Bakabon's dad is the main character, the operation is not light. It is difficult to decide whether this is a difficult point or whether it represents the atmosphere of the character. As a character game, I feel like I can enjoy the expressive appearance, but as an action game, I think it's quite difficult because of the lack of movement.
Actions using umbrellas are versatile and will become important for capture.
Like the Famicom version, the attention to detail, such as close-ups of Bakabon's papa and the music when posing, makes me feel like I'm doing my best, but if you ask me how it is as an action game, I can't get enough of it. It's not that there isn't one, but I think it's a difficult point that you can't play comfortably. I thought it would have been better if the movement was a little lighter.
The same characters are also appearing, and for the time being, there are punch lines, so if you can convince yourself of the ridiculousness of the genius Bakabon, you can say that you can enjoy it.
