The author of this game, Elvis Enmanuel Castillo, created it alone around 1996-1998 with the aim of sending it to a contest held by some Spanish magazine covering computer games. What happened next with her - that is, whether she was eventually sent there, and if she was, then what fate had befallen her, - does not say. Elvis also notes that he tried to enter the shareware games market with her, but — again, according to him, he was unable to sell a single copy. In the end, Gondwanait turned out to be in Styx, and more specifically, on the hard drive of its creator, where it had lain for almost twenty years. In 2015, however, he decided to tell the world about it, showing screenshots of the gameplay, but, despite the sudden interest in such a curiosity of some representatives of the old-game community, at first he had a sharply negative attitude to the idea of ??“letting her” into the world - and small bearded children it remained only to drool and shed bitter tears, since this was exactly the case when there are really no alternative sources for receiving a rare book and there cannot be. In early autumn of 2017, one of the team members of our site (whose name you can see on the tab with the file) entered into negotiations with the author, the result of which was the provision of "Gondwana" to people. And this, my friends, is very, very cool.
