Hundreds of years ago, the ruler of Transylvania, a man by the name of Monte Carlo, was sealed away by the soul of a lone sacrifice. However, that seal has, over the centuries, begun to weaken, and recently a great number of monsters have started to appear around the land. Young girls have started disappearing from the villages in the area, but there are whispers of one from afar who may be able to bring them safely back. A young girl named Rusty appears in one of the villages, seeking the source of the monsters. Two young children, whose sister was taken by the monsters, ask Rusty to save her, and she heads straight on, whip in hand.

Rusty is a side-scrolling action platformer that is noticeably similar to the well-known Castlevania series. Controlling the titular whip-wielding vampire hunter, Rusty, the player must enter the cursed land of Transylvania, defeating a variety of evil monsters, and searching for the missing girls. Throughout each stage are locked doors which require keys in order to open, and Rusty can also run as well as swing from hooks using her whip. There are also items strewn about each stage which will give her access to special super-attacks, as well as an owl companion which will attack enemies for her.

Il s'ait d'un Castlevania like. Le jeu est en japonais, pas en anglais. 

Le gamepaly est raide. C'est le cas des Castlevania sur NES. Je n'ai pas réussi pour le moment a passé le premier niveau. Le jeu ne répond pas bien avec un clavier. Rien que faire un saut en avant ou sauter d'une corde, c'est galère. 

Graphiquement, je dirai que c'est joli pour du MSDOS. Rusty est mignonne. Elle aime bien le body cuir. Je me demande si une telle tenue protège bien le corps ? Ah oui ! C'est un jeu japonais. Moins il y a de vêtements sur une femme et plus elle est protégée (humour).

L'héroïne se nomme Rusty. Ce n'est pas plutôt Lusty ? Probablement une erreur dans la retranscription en romaji (écriture romaine pour les mots japonais). 

Je retenterai plus tard sur l'aventure pour peut-être une critique plus poussée. A condition de me faire au gameplay, ce qui n'est pas gagné.

Ce jeu existe également sur "PC-98", oui, un ordinateur Japonais, avec un jeu japonais 😁 ça tombe bien, alors pour la maniabilité je confirme que c'est pas terrible sur PC-98, cependant l'avantage sur l'émulateur PC-98 est que l'on peut sauvegarder à chaque pas 😅 oui ça aide pour ce genre de jeu 😁.

If you want to play this game i super recommend you dont play this DOS Version the controls are strange and the music quality is awful.... Play the PC-98 version for the BEST experience and Good Luck this game is sooo HARD!!
