Astal is a side-scrolling platform game with lots of Anime-esque background detail. You have birds helping you if you can rescue them. Special moves such as a smart bomb can be collected.

Astal's world, Quartilia, is a mystical world much different from Earth. Everything in this beautiful world was created from a handful of jewels by the goddess Antowas. Even Astal and Leda, the girl Astal loves, were created from jewels. But within the surreal beauty of Astal's world evil lurks as the demon Jerado will stop at nothing to take over Quartilia!
