There is a reason why Phoenix Games is one of the most notorious video games companies for releasing games on the PlayStation 2. Most of those games are rip-off movies from other well-known movies that were released by Disney.
Dalmatians 3 however had two games before this one both were on the PlayStation and ripping off 101 Dalmatians which would explain where their front covers have pictures of Dalmatians dogs. Even seeing Cruella De Vil on the cover makes you think she'll make an appearance in the game nope doesn't appear what so ever. Easily once again Phoenix Games knows how to fool people in buying their games just by seeing the front cover.
But the story makes no sense what so ever and yet if a child bought this game they would be really upset that it's not based on the actual story or at least the Disney movie. Even reading the back cover of the story makes no sense "Our old lady loves cookies a lot, doesn't she? Let’s get some from the market for her. The vendor calls the police and the Dalmatians are locked up, you will never come out of here says Butch, the bulldog. No way that we stay here, says Kruimel I have got an idea."
Everything about this game from its poor animation making it look like a flash movie you've just watched on the internet and the whole thing is just badly done in every way including the animation for it looks choppy and badly detailed. Most games that were developed by Phoenix Games have a Cartoon Movie which can last around 30-45 minutes and it also includes a few mini games which I wouldn't even class them as mini games to begin with.
You've got Pairs which is just matching certain two card icons which gives you three options to choose from are 16 cards, 24 cards or 32 cards. Jigsaw gives you three options as well to choose from 24 pieces, 48 or 96 pieces; Puzzle has you choosing 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 and last but not least there's a Colouring book where you can colouring in certain scenes from the movies using paints but most of it feels like you are using Microsoft Paint but worse than that making it feel like one of those cheap nasty colouring in sheets you see in markets and only have three coloured pencils.
Is there some kind of reward after clearing all of those mini-games? Answer is no you end up getting nothing in the end for a game that is supposed to be aimed at a younger audience will only found nothing but disappointment and no actual challenge at all. For a game that was released in 2006 hasn't even aged well at all and is not recommended to anyone but the disc however can easily heat up that quickly once you've played it on your PlayStation 2 you'll never be able to play it again soon after luckily it was only released in Europe and not elsewhere around the world but it just goes to show that there are worse games like theses out there. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you really do want to see how this game or even their other games on how badly looking they are in gaming.
