Adapted for the Dreamcast from the arcade hit of the same name, 18 Wheeler is a truck racing simulation game. In this game, you must deliver a cargo before your opponent while preserving the integrity of your load, as damages affect its value. With different truckers and their vehicles boasting unique characteristics, the solo mode offers an immersive experience. The "versus" mode allows you to compete against a human opponent on four diverse circuits, while a special mode offers a series of challenges to complete within a time limit. Despite some limitations such as the limited number of characters and circuits, 18 Wheeler remains a highly enjoyable game, offering authentic driving sensations and an exciting dose of competition, especially in multiplayer mode.
